Firstly, PEDIGREE® PUPPY dry food is easier to soften with warm water for puppies needing a softer meal. Secondly, PEDIGREE® PUPPY dry food has been designed to be easy to chew with smaller kibbles, so when feeding dry you know your puppy will be able to chew their food comfortably. PEDIGREE® PUPPY also has a palatability of over 80%, meaning your dog will find the food highly enjoyable. The feeding requirement of puppies will vary depending on their age, breed and activity level. We recommend the use of the feeding guide below. For puppies up to six months of age, divide the daily portion shown in the chart into four meals, reducing to two meals after six months. Leave the recommended amount for 15 minutes and then remove any uneaten food. Serve fresh food at the next meal.

Puppies less than eight weeks of age should be fed PEDIGREE® PUPPY dry food that has been soaked in warm water (not boiling). All diet changes must be made gradually, so when you start feeding your puppy PEDIGREE® PUPPY, increase quantities progressively during a period of five days. At the end of the puppy stage, it is best to gradually introduce PEDIGREE® ADULT to your dog’s diet.
A bowl of fresh water should be nearby and available at all times. It is strongly advised NOT to feed Pedigree in conjunction with any other dog food. You may mix this product with Pedigree pouches available in beef and chicken varieties.
Dry nutrition for puppies
