HOW MUCH FOOD SHOULD I FEED MY DOG?
Feeding according to dog size is really important and PEDIGREE® has feeding guidelines on the back of every pack. An average small dog (+-10kg) should eat +-150g of food a day. PEDIGREE® kibble is highly digestible. Around 90% of the food is absorbed and utilized by the body. This high digestibility is especially important for small dog owners where the dogs typically live in homes with smaller gardens and will result in less “mess” for the owners to clean up. It also means our kibble is very nutrient dense. You should be measuring the food portions out to ensure that you are not overfeeding. Obesity is a major problem for dogs leading to a broad range of health conditions including heart and joint issues.

WHY IS IT AN IMPORTANT MEASURE TO ASCERTAIN THE QUALITY OF THE PET’S DIET?
